Even after multiple tests and treatments, doctors couldn't help me. Everything I tried made my conditions worse or only provided temporary relief. Remedy-hunting led to more stress, frustration, and even desperation. I eventually found myself between two choices. One was to continue to live life filled with pain and suffering. The other was to stop using a band-aid approach and take a serious committed step towards wellness. I decided that I didn't want to plan the rest of my life around doctors' appointments so I left my banking job to embark on a journey to find true healing. As I studied integrative nutrition, fitness, and yoga, I learned that my symptoms such as joint pain and restless sleep were just that - symptoms of a deeper imbalance. I needed to get to the core of all my symptoms and address the real causes. Instead of expecting others to cure me, I changed what I ate, how I moved, how I related to others and myself. Most importantly, I started a daily yoga practice that connects me to something richer, greater, and sweeter than anything I've experienced before. Today, I sleep deeper, stress less, have clearer skin, and my body is stronger and relaxed than ever. Witnessing the positive changes take place in myself, clients, family and friends, I experience more joy and excitement than when I was a child. I feel assured that I am on the right path as I bring healing not only into my own life but also into the lives of others.
